Grace Gawler has battled for decades to correct errors in a story she was intimately involved in. In recent months the Medical Journal of Australia (MJA) , The Australian newspaper and now the ‘Australian Doctor’ have published her thoroughly fact checked article showing how in the 2008 MJA, Dr Ruth Gawler and Prof Jelinek, both from the Gawler Foundation, had multiple errors in their article – designed to promote the myth that Ian Gawler recovered from bone cancer due to extensive meditation and a vegan diet.
